The #2 ranked affordable midsize SUV on US news the Nissan Murano takes that spot. With amazing fuel economy, and cool tech features on the inside this is for someone that wants an efficient car with a very comfortable interior and looks great. This is also the 1st year Apple CarPlay was introduced to the Murano for ease of use with Apple products. With a 4/5 score from the NHTSA it is a safe vehicle to drive. Luxury:

The interior of the vehicle is very luxurious and it is one of their biggest selling points. With high quality material used for every inch of the vehicle it is hard to find any fault on the interior. The interior is also very sporty looking so you get this mix of luxury and sporty when you sit inside of it.

It is also a very fuel economic vehicle with 21 mpg for the city, and 28 mpg for the highway. It also has an interesting benefit of having the same fuel economy with all-wheel drive as well!

Safety:

There are a variety of safety packages that are offered for the Murano. 360-degree Around View with Moving Object Detection, Driver Attention Alert, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The package with all of this is called the “Driver Assistance Package”.

360-degree Around View with Moving Object Detection:

The vehicle has a top down view of the SUV and on the infotainment scree will show you what is around you in a 360 degree view. It will also give an alert when it notices a moving object in the camera view.

Driver Attention Alert

This is a system that monitors your driving habits and when it notices your driving habits change it will give you an alert and notify you that maybe it is time to take a break from driving to prevent someone from falling asleep behind the vehicle or if someone is not paying attention to the road.

Blind Spot Warning

It is pretty much self explanatory but it is a warning for when vehicles are in your blind spot while you’re driving.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

When you are backing out of a parking spot the vehicle will detect any vehicles that are approaching behind the Murano and will give both an audible and visual alert to prevent the driver from crashing.
